“TRADITIONS” Meeting 09/03

This will be a regular meeting with 4 speeches, 4 evaluations and a round of Table Topics — an improvised speaking game where guests are free to participate.

This meeting’s theme will be: TRADITIONS

… Traditions are an odd thing. They’re put on a pedestal by some, critised by others. Undeniably there is value in continuing the habits of old, yet sometimes traditions need to be broken off to make space for something better.

This meeting, we’ll take a look at traditions, both good & bad and take an appreciation to some of the oddities in our lives. …

Remember to bring your own refreshments and/or refillable bottle, as the Romaanse Poort is a private venue. Also: dress appropriately, as the building has reduced heating during the energy crisis.
