“BELONGING & COMMUNITY” Meeting 30/03

This will be a regular meeting with 4 speeches, 4 evaluations and a round of Table Topics — an improvised speaking game where guests are free to participate.

This meeting’s theme will be: BELONGING & COMMUNITY

… Belonging is a fundamental human need, and as a Toastmasters group, we recognize that our members can find a sense of belonging within our community. According to the Wikipedia page on belongingness, humans have an inherent need to form & maintain positive, stable relationships with others, and the lack of social connection can have a severe negative impact on physical & mental health.
This meeting, we will explore how our members can develop & maintain meaningful connections within our group & beyond…

The meeting will be held in a covered, heated outside terrace. Best to bring a warm sweater or scarf to stay warm if needed… Drinks & snacks can be purchased at the bar.
